For years, I chased every answer I could find — medication, prayer, spiritual reading, exercise, diet — yet the panic, racing thoughts, and constant fear never left. I didn’t feel safe anywhere, even in calm places.

The Reason being was that FEAR descibes real things. No amount of you singing songs, meditation, or spiritual readings will help if you feel there is a bear standing right out side your tent.  You cannot use "false positivity" to resolve your fear.  We must deal with the root of the issue.  So much of what keeps us trapped in fear is that fear descibes real things and feels real!  This is not just a feeling like we expereince in movies this can come from dizzy spells, intrusive thoughts, insomnia, stomach pain, self doubt, panic attacks, breathless ness, heart palps, and health concerns.  To say "this is fear" is not as simple and for that reason I was trapped. I did not have someone who walked me through how to retrain my nervous system. This is why I created Shadows and Trees—the principle that first revealed what healing truly meant for me. It’s this core foundation that guides the process of restoring and rebalancing your nervous system.

Shadows and Trees

I have walked free from chronic anxiety for over 15 years. What once felt like theory is now supported by countless studies: fear has two parts—the shadow cast by the mind and the event itself. Discovering this truth allowed me to finally say with confidence that fear was wrong. Until then, it was hard to simply believe, hope, or even receive good news. Danger is real, but fear often disguises itself as wisdom and truth. It doesn’t feel like “just fear” when it shows up as dizziness, insomnia, stomach pain, and countless other symptoms.

Shadows and Trees is about understanding why we cling to fear—and how to break free.
